You can’t imagine how I felt when I looked out of my kitchen window and noticed that water level in our swimming pool had dropped drastically. I panicked. The realtor had told us when we bought the house two years ago that the vinyl lining was several years old and would need to be replaced but we just couldn’t afford it. There was no way we could swing the cost now, especially if the pool had more damage. My neighbor actually laughed at me and told me to call Elkhart Pools. After scheduling an appointment, the technician arrived the next day and found several leaks, which he quickly repaired. Thank you, Elkhart Pools for fixing our Hayward pool cleaner! We had purchased the unit online and quickly realized that we were unable to receive satisfactory customer service when the unit quit working. Apparently, the problem was as simple as a broken spring but we could not find replacement parts. I dropped off the cleaner at Elkhart Pools on my way to work and received a call after lunch that I could pick it up on my way home that evening. The charge was cheaper than I expected and the unit is working like new. It’s kind of embarrassing to admit it but when I bought my house, which included a swimming pool, I thought I was just supposed to throw in some bleach and baking soda. Fortunately, my chemistry experiment resulted in cloudy water that smelled really bad. After an online search, I quickly learned that I could have injured my family if we had used the pool in that condition. Another search led me to Elkhart Pools who offered to drop by the house, test the water and recommend treatment specifically needed for my pool. After an explanation of pH levels, the technician was kind enough to explain that their experience and technology helped them to find the answer that I would have never discovered. We installed our concrete pool about 12 years ago. For the most part, we’ve been very happy with our decision. My wife has changed the interior color with paint about three times so it looks updated and almost new. And then one day, we had a cement pit with no water. Overnight a small leak, which I now know could have been quickly and inexpensively repaired, became a crack. To the naked eye, it appeared harmless. To the guy paying for all of this water, it was a disaster. Having worked with Elkhart Pools for our chemical needs, I called them to ask for a referral. I was shocked when they offered to visit my house later that day. Within a few hours, we had a plan to repair the pool. Yes, I would have saved money calling them sooner but this gives my wife a chance to paint the pool again.- Steve & Linda Snyder
We purchased our home as new construction earlier this year. We opted to have a pool installed but were a little disappointed to find a very bland hole in the ground with a bright blue liner that looked like every other pool. When meeting with Elkhart Pools to discuss our chemical and cleaner needs, I mentioned how boring the pool looked. The lady suggested we consider adding a fountain to the setup. I thought it was too late to add to the finished product but deciding to look anyway.
